The Dorset Brewing Company (DBC) is the most recent in a long line of distinguished breweries to be resident in Brewers Quay. From the grant of a brewing charter by the Prior of Winchester in 1252 until 1986, this site was the source of excellent ales. In 1996, the Brewing Tradition was revived by DBC, where visitors to this West Country brewing stronghold can taste and see the production of multi-award winning and Champion Weymouth bitters and wheat beers as part of the Timewalk Journey.
